Inter have now made an attempt to beat Roma in their move for West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported about the situation of the Italian, stating that the Nerazzurri are now in the lead for the striker and talks between the Hammers and Inter are now on regarding the playerโs sale this summer.
Inter have offered between โฌ20 million and โฌ22 million, with Inter now trying to find the right agreement over a fee with West Ham. While Scamacca has given priority to Roma, his childhood club, the presence of Champions League football at Inter is likely to convince him about a move.
Developments are expected soon, with Inter offering between โฌ20 million and โฌ22 milion in the first offer. Roma have not gone beyond an initial loan with the obligation to buy and that doesnโt sit well with West Ham. As a result, the Nerazzurri are firmly in the lead.
