Juventus monitor Wilfred Gnonto and Armand Lauriente with Federico Chiesa’s future in doubt

With Italian international Federico Chiesa’s future with the Bianconeri in doubt after a harrowing and mortifying campaign across all angles, Juventus are monitoring promising pair of wingers Wilfred Gnonto and Armand Lauriente very closely.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that despite Chiesa’s contract with the Old Lady expiring within the summer of 2025, it is far from certain that the 25 year-old will be willing to renew with the Turin club.

As a result, Juventus have shortlisted a handful of possible successors in the case that the former Fiorentina winger parts ways with the club this summer after spending three seasons at the Allianz thus far.

Juventus are heavily intrigued by Leeds United’s Wilfred Gnonto, whom has had an incredible first year with the Premier League outfit as the 19 year-old played a vital role for the Whites as he made 24 appearances in all competitions.

In addition, the Bianconeri are also earmarking Sassuolo’s Armand Lauriente as the Frenchman greatly impressed within his first Serie A campaign under Dionisi, amassing seven goals and six assists in 28 games-played for the Neroverdi.

With European giants Bayern Munich and Liverpool watching Chiesa’s situation at Juventus very closely, the Bianconeri look to react quickly within the market in the case that the 25 year-old attacker does decide to depart Turin this summer.
