Serie A giants Juventus are now working on a renewal for striker Dušan Vlahović, who was close to leaving the club this summer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that both parties are considering a short renewal and the length of the renewal could be one year. The technical reasons are intertwined with the economic ones and next month, the Bianconeri sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli and the club director Giovanni Manna will discuss the idea in person with the Serbian’s entourage.
Juve’s plan is to offer the striker a similar renewal as what Adrien Rabiot got or what Wojciech Szczesny got and it help the club financially. His contract currently expires in the summer of 2026 and a renewal will make sure it expires in 2027. Talks will take place in October, it seems likely.
Juve are also keen on making sure that they continue forward with Vlahović and they have now given up on the idea of selling him. Max Allegri allso fully trusts the 23-year-old and there is confidence at the club that a short renewal could come.
