Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has revealed that he is only thinking about his life at Napoli, amidst links with a move to Real Madrid.
The Georgianโs father had recently spoken about the playerโs future, stating that Real Madrid is his dream club. The winger had supported Los Blancos as a child and had a special admiration for the clubโs former star Guti, while also having expressed his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo in the past.
Talk about his new deal at Napoli has been rife and it remains to be seen if he commits his long-term future at the Partenopei or not. But recently, Kvaratskhelia had spoken to Geo Team about his future (via Sky Italia) and he was asked about Real Madrid:
โAt the moment Iโm 100% focused on Napoli. Iโm doing my best to help the team. Real Madrid? It was a childhood passion, but now I only think about Napoli : We have important matches ahead of us: Iโm very happy here.โ
He further stated: โThere are many good clubs where I would like to play but now I feel happy in Naples.โ
Newcastle United and Manchester City have also been linked with a move for the winger in the past, with Kvaratskhelia not sparkling as much as he did under Luciano Spalletti last season.
