Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić says ‘yes’ to Saudi Arabia offer

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić has now said ‘yes’ to an offer from Saudi Arabia and he is now inching closer to a move to the Middle East.

The Serbian has been linked with a move to Saudi in recent days and La Repubblica (via Guillaume MP) today have revealed that the midfielder has now given his approval to the offer from Al-Hilal. The club, which was also keen on signing Lionel Messi, at one point, has offered €20 million a season to the midfielder and they are now looking to agree a fee with Lazio.

They have already put forward an offer of €40 million and there are positive signs that the Roman outfit will accept that amount, with Juventus yet to come forward with their approach for the player.

Corriere dello Sport have also mirrored the same information, which suggests that the midfielder could indeed be heading to the Middle East, after previously being linked with moves to Manchester United and Real Madrid.
