Premier League side Leicester City have made an attempt to sign Fiorentina winger Nico Gonzalez.
Gonzalez did not take part in the FIFA World Cup for Argentine but he has returned to action for La Viola, having recently scored a winner for the club against Sassuolo.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that the Foxes would like to bring Gonzalez to King Power this month and have put forward an offer of €34 million for the Argentine. Fiorentina are in a reflection phase and are thinking about the offer.
Because Gonzalez is not flourishing at the Franchi and because he hasn’t taken off like was expected to, Fiorentina are giving the sale a serious thought. The only thing that concerns them is the fact that they will lose an important first-team player and they could be left without a replacement. That is why they’ve not accepted the offer so far.
