Leonardo Bonucci and Weston McKennie out of Juventus’ project

Both Leonardo Bonucci and American midfielder Weston McKennie are now out of Juventus’ project under Max Allegri.

Romeo Agresti has reported that Juve have now already communicated the club’s desire to keep Bonucci out of the project to the defender, who will now train alone and will not travel with the squad for the tour to the United States. Bonucci is now heading close to a farewell from the club that he had rejoined after a season at Milan, even if the Italian is yet to make a decision about his future.

The decision to exclude Bonucci from the project was made by Giovanni Manna and it was told to the player after he had resumed training. Not just him, McKennie has also been told that he will not be a part of the club’s project under Allegri, as he returned from his loan spell at Leeds only recently. He too will not travel with the squad to the US and will look for a new club.
