Manchester United interested in Inter’s André Onana

Premier League side Manchester United are interested in Inter goalkeeper André Onana, with Chelsea also looking at the Cameroon international.

In recent days, speculation has been rife about Chelsea’s interest in Onana, with the Blues having held a meeting with the Nerazzurri about the Cameroon international. Inter were not satisfied with Chelsea’s offer and Onana’s agent was recently in Milan to speak to the former Scudetto winners and he informed the Nerazzurri about the interest from clubs across Europe.

Gianluca di Marzio was recently speaking to Sky Sports in England about the situation of Onana and he revealed that both United and Chelsea are interested in the ex-Ajax player. Inter know about the interest from the clubs and they are looking at a fee of about a minimum of €50 million to part ways with the goalkeeper, who joined for free last summer.

Onana has certainly worked with Erik ten Hag in the past during their time together at Ajax and reports have previously pointed at how they continue to have a good relationship. Chelsea’s admiration comes because of the club’s technical director Lawrence Stewart, who was keen on the goalkeeper during his time at Monaco.
