Manchester United make new contact for Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat

Premier League side Manchester United made new contact for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat earlier today.

The Morocco international was handed an extra period of break and he returned to training with La Viola earlier today and so did Nicolas Gonzalez. The Argentine arrived at the training centre before his teammate.

ViolaNews state that interest from Atletico Madrid has now cooled down and earlier today, there was new contact between Amrabat’s entourage and United. There is mutual liking from both sides but the crucial point of the move will likely be the sales United make to reach La Viola’s valuation for the midfielder, with Fred and Scott McTominay two candidates that can depart.

It has been previously reported that United have not made any offer to Fiorentina for the Morocco international yet and neither have any other clubs, but the midfielder has informed the Artemio Franchi-based side that he would like to depart this summer and join a bigger club whenever one comes calling.
