Manchester United now expected to land Inter’s André Onana

Manchester United are soon expected to find an agreement with Inter for goalkeeper André Onana.

It was reported yesterday that today is going to be a vital day in the situation involving United and Onana. La Gazzetta dello Sport today state that United are expected to soon find an agreement over a fee with Inter for the Cameroonian and the agreement could even reach today. The first meeting between the two clubs will take place later today.

To replace the 27-year-old, Inter have already established some contacts but nothing will happen before Onana’s sale. The club’s plan is to sign a promising young goalkeeper and an experienced one. Anatolij Trubin is the key name for the first category and Keylor Navas is the key target for the second category. They will only move for Navas if Paris Saint-Germain allow to leave him for free.

Trubin and Navas are not the only two options for the goalkeeping positiion and even if at the moment they are the ones with the best chance compared to the others, it should not be forgotten that the Nerazzurri executives have been making enquiries in recent days for the Valencia goalkeeper Georgi Mamardashvili and for two experienced players such as Hugo Lloris and Yann Sommer. The interest in Emil Audero is more recent, with the player destined to leave Sampdoria after relegation to Serie B.
