Marseille set to sign Atalanta’s Ruslan Malinovskyi

Ligue 1 outfit Marseille are set to seal the signature of Atalanta’s Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi this month.

Tottenham Hotspur had also made an offer for the La Dea star but it seems as if Marseille have sealed the deal. Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Ukraine international will join Marseille on a permanent transfer in the January move, with the French side set to pay €12 million plus add-ons for the signature.

Romano has stated that the deal between the two parties is almost done and the final touches will be laid next week, with the player having already agreed personal terms with Marseille.

The midfielder was linked with Marseille and Spurs in the summer as well and even though he was said to be out of Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans, the move never came about. Reports recently stated that Antonio Conte wanted Malinovskyi at Tottenham this month as well.
