Milan now likely to miss out on Porto’s Mehdi Taremi

Serie A side Milan are now likely to miss out on the signature of Porto striker Mehdi Taremi.

Until yesterday, it seemed as if Milan would seal the deal for the Iran international but last minute change in demands from Porto made sure that the deal faced troubles.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Milan will now likely not sign the 31-year-old, even though they will make one last attempt to resurrect their move for Taremi. A new agent entered the scenario and that scuppered the move, and so did Taremi’s own renewed wage demands.

It is likely that the negotiations will not take off. Milan are now looking around for alternatives, as they continue to be keen on handing another striker to Stefano Pioli. Youssef En-Nesyri was offered to the club but the deal will not take off, as the Moroccan isn’t looking to move from Sevilla on a loan deal this summer.
