Milan set to sign Luka Romero on a free transfer

Former Serie A Champions Milan have now sealed the deal to sign former Lazio starlet Luka Romero on a free transfer.

Romero’s contract at Lazio was running out at the end of this month and Lazio had not decided to renew his expiring deal, leaving him as a free agent.

Sky Italia have now confirmed that Milan have found an agreement with the player’s entourage and he will now join the Rossoneri on a free transfer. He will sign a four-year deal and will soon sign the contract with the club.

This afternoon Giorgio Furlani, the Milan CEO, met with agent Fali Ramadani for the Romero deal. The meeting lasted two and a half hours and led to an agreement in principle regarding the playmaker, with the last essential details now sorted out.

Romero will be Milan’s second free agent signing, as they have already signed Marco Sportiello on a free transfer.
