Napoli could formalise move for Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga today

Serie A giants Napoli remain keen on signing Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga and they could finalise their move today.

Sky Italia state that the Partenopei are continuing to work on the signing and contacts between the parties are quite constant, as they look to close the deal. But today is expected to be a vital day in the saga.

Napoli will formalise their decisive offer for the attacking midfielder today, with an agreement over personal terms already existing between the player and the Serie A champions. Napoli know Celta’s demands, which stand at €40 million because of the release clause.

The Partenopei will offer a little less than the release clause in the hope of closing a deal, while adding bonuses and a percentage of resale to Celta as they attempt to sign the player.

Veiga could actually arrive at the club without Piotr Zielinski leaving, with the Pole still deciding whether to go to Saudi Arabia or not. His wife wants to stay in Naples, even though Al Ahli remain confident that his approval to the move will arrive.
