Napoli reach agreement for new Khvicha Kvaratskhelia contract

Napoli sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is reportedly set to extend his stay at Naples after agreeing on a contract renewal.

According to a report by Daniele Longo, the breakout star of the season, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has agreed on a contract extension which was proposed by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis himself.

Following the departure of Scudetto-winning manager Luciano Spalletti, the task is in the hands of the Partenopei president to strengthen their attack for next season and keep their valuable resources.

The process of defending the Scudetto has already begun at Naples as the Georgian star who netted 14 times and registered 17 assists this season is set to extend his current contract expiring in 2027 by a year. The new deal almost doubles his pay to €2.5 million net per season and the agreement snubs all the clubs circling around Kvaratskhelia like sharks.

Apart from renewing the 22-year-old winger, Napoli are also working on signing Beto from Udinese who has shown prolific goalscoring prowess.
