Napoli set to make new offer for Lens’ Kevin Danso

Serie A champions Napoli are now set to make a new offer to sign Lens defender Kevin Danso.

It was previously reported that Lens’ asking price for Danso is deemed too high for the Partenopei and that seemed like a stumbling block for the Azzurri.

Marco Conterio has now reported that with Kim Min-Jae yet to be replaced by Napoli with three weeks left for the Serie A season to start, a new offer is set to be made by Napoli for Danso. His name has become popular amongst the Partenopei higher-ups and he already has an agreement over personal terms with the Serie A champions.

Rudi Garcia is said to be a big fan of Danso’s profile and he is pushing for the club to sign the Lens man, with contacts between the two clubs having taken place in recent days. There is a feeling that a new offer can help bring Napoli close to Lens’ asking price, with Garcia’s club confident of finding an agreement.
