Napoli to propose mutual contract termination to Rudi Garcia

Napoli are expected to propose a mutual contract termination to manager Rudi Garcia and a meeting could take place later today.

It has been reported earlier today that Napoli owner Aurelio de Laurentiis has already decided that Garcia will be sacked and he is only waiting to have an agreement in hand with a potential replacement for the Frenchman.

La Repubblica (via TMW) have reported today that De Laurentiis is considering the sort of exit route he should take for Garcia and the club’s owner will meet the Frenchman at Castel Volturno later today. During the meeting, he will propose a mutual and consentual termination of his current contract.

This will make sure that Napoli save the termination fee of his contract and Garcia leaves the club with his image slightly intact, as compared to how it can be perceived if he gets the sack. The least probable possibility is that Garcia resigns just ten games into his Partenopei stint and that is why De Laurentiis intends to go with this mutual termination plan.
