Italy international Alessandro Bastoni has now silenced all the rumours surrounding his future and he has now signed a new deal with the club.
Inter have confirmed that the Italian has committed his future to the club till the summer of 2028. There initially talk of whether the defender would renew his deal at the club or not and there was the possibility of him leaving the club on a free transfer when his previous contract expired in the summer of 2024. But that will not be the case anymore.
Bastoni was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur last summer and Antonio Conte was keen on having him at the London giants. But the move didn’t go through, as Bastoni remained keen on staying.
The 24-year-old has become a vital figure for Inter in recent seasons and he played 29 league games for the club last season, appearing 12 times in the Champions League as well.
