Justin Kluivert’s highly disappointing time at AS Roma has come to an end. The Dutchman has made a permanent move to Premier League side Bournemouth.
24-year-old Kluivert has joined Bournemouth for an amount of €11 million plus bonuses, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The Giallorossi have thus made €7 million in capital gains. The transfer expert adds that the role of agent Enzo Raiola was ‘fundamental’ in the deal between both sides. The Cherries have already announced the transfer of the Dutch winger on Friday evening. Kluivert played 68 matches for the Roman team, scoring 9 times in those appearances.
Kluivert joined Roma from Ajax in the summer of 2018. There were big expectations of the son of football legend Patrick Kluivert, but he was never able to fulfill them. Roma loaned the Dutchman out to RB Leipzig, Nice and Valencia most recently. He scored 8 goals in 29 La Liga matches, which was enough to convince Bournemouth to get him on a five-year-contract.
