Serie A side Milan have officially unveiled Samuel Chukwueze as a new signing from La Liga side Villarreal.
Following Marcus Thuramโs choice to join neighbourhood rivals Inter, Milan stepped up their pursuit of Samuel Chukwueze and eventually came to terms with Villarreal for the wingerโs transfer.
The Rossoneri will pay a sum of โฌ20 million plus bonuses of โฌ8 million to The Yellow Submarines for the 24-year-old who is known for his pace in attack, versatility on both wings and ability to unlock the opposition defence with incisive passes.ย
Over the past five seasons, Chukwueze played an influential role for Villarreal as he worked his way through the youth ranks of the club and helped them win a Europa League trophy.
With the announcement of this transfer, Milan have completed the seventh signing of the transfer window following the arrivals of Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Marco Sportiello, Luka Romero, Tijjani Reijnders and Noah Okafor.ย
