Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski is expected to leave the club next month.
According to a report by La Repubblica, Piotr Zielinski has chosen Serie A side Inter as his future club after a disagreement over a contract renewal with Napoli. There is a massive divide between the 29-year-oldโs asking wage and the Partenopeiโs offer, leading to a standoff between both parties.ย
The Nerazzurri have been probing the Polish midfielder for years. Club CEO Giuseppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio have offered Zielinski โฌ4 million for four years. The total agreement is expected to be sealed within the next few weeks. The playerโs contract expires in June of next year so Simone Inzaghiโs side will gain his services for free.ย
Despite Interโs major advances, they are anxious about Roma. The Giallorossi surveyed the attacking midfielder recently and they are still not completely out of the game.ย
