Portuguese giants Porto have now lowered their asking price for Milan target and club’s star striker Mehdi Taremi.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Milan continue to look for a striker who can rotate upfront with Olivier Giroud and Taremi is seen as a vital target. Porto now want only €20 million to sell the Iran international but the key issue to ponder in the case would be that signing him would block Milan’s signing of Samuel Chukwueze.
The striker would occupy Milan’s last non-EU spot, meaning that Chukwueze will not be signed. But the Rossoneri will soon make a decision.
In addition to a striker, Milan also want a left-back and Luca Pellegrini’s name has gained ground recently. They have a liking for the Italian but are yet to make an offer for him, with Fode Ballo-Toure likely to be sold this summer and a new left-back will be signed to replace him.
