Saudi Pro Leagueโs director Michael Emenalo has revealed that he would like to see Victor Osimhen play in Saudi Arabia.
Osimhen has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but he seems to be edging close to signing a new deal at Napoli. Al Hilal have made attempts to sign him and have offered a huge wage package to him and a very high fee to the Partenopei, but the move has not materialised.
As he edges close to a new deal at the Maradona, his compatriot Emenalo spoke to Corriere dello Sportย (via TMW) about the links involving the Nigerian and Saudi clubs.
He said: โOsimhen is Nigerian like me. For me he is great, a fantastic football artist. If I would like him here in this league? Sure, I would like Osimehn in Saudi Arabia.โ
Osimhen was linked with a host of other clubs in Europe such as Manchester United and Chelsea, but he seems set to stay in Italy. But his new deal is expected to have a release clause and there has been talk of him having a clause which also focus specifically on Saudi clubs.
