Jose Mourinho’s situation at Roma continues to remain uncertain but there are currently three possible options regarding his future.
Marco Conterio has reported that Mourinho is constantly growing distant from the Giallorossi and both him and Tiago Pinto are now at different extremes regarding the project at the club. There have been misunderstandings regarding the project and regarding how the club have operated in the market. A failure to reach the Champions League will end their journey together.
There is quite a concrete possibility of him leaving Roma in the summer and there are three possible directions he can head to and all of them are linked to his past.
The first one is Real Madrid and Mourinho being the successor of Carlo Ancelotti next season, with the Italian having been linked with the Brazil job. The second possibility involves Chelsea, where Graham Potter is clearly struggling and it would be his third stint at Stamford Bridge.
The third idea revolves around Inter and even though it is only a suggestion, Simone Inzaghi’s future depends on Champions League qualification. Jürgen Klopp has been linked with the club, if Inzaghi does leave the Nerazzurri.
