Tottenham interested in Zinedine Zidane

With Antonio Conte sacked, Tottenham Hotspur are looking around for a new permanent manager and apart from other names, one man they are keeping tabs on is Zinedine Zidane.

Sky Italia have reported about the managerial situation at the Lilywhites and Conte’s future, saying that the Italian has returned to Italy with his family and he sees his next destination to be the Serie A. It has been reported recently that his return to Serie A remains quite complicated because of the finances involved and because Conte would have to take a wage cut.

But Spurs are now already looking for their next manager, even though Cristian Stellini is in-charge on an interim basis till the end of the campaign. Mauricio Pochettino is said to be the favourite to take over at his former club but ex-Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann and former Spain and Barcelona manager Luis Enrique are also being considered. It is stated that Zinedine Zidane is also on the shortlist.

Sky Italia aren’t the only outlet in Italy to have linked Spurs to Zidane, as La Repubblica had also done that some days ago.
