Two-game ban for Juventus’ Moise Kean after kicking Roma’s Gianluca Mancini

Juventus striker Moise Kean has received a two-game ban for the red card he received against Roma last Sunday.

Kean was sent off 40 seconds after being subbed in as he kicked Roma’s defender Gianluca Mancini. As reported by Opta, this has been the third fastest sent off in Serie A history.

Juventus might appeal the ban but as of right now, Kean will miss the next two Bianconeri games in Serie A against Sampdoria and Inter, with the Derby d’Italia scheduled to be played on March 19th.

He’ll be available again for the Verona clash which is scheduled for April 1st, after the international break.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri told after the 1-0 defeat against Roma that Kean will be fined by the club and La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the fine imposed will be a rather heavy one and the Italian would pay around €20k to €25k.

It has also been reported that his future at the club is uncertain due to his performances and his recent actions. This season, he has scored 7 goals in 32 matches across all competitions.
