Napoli star Victor Osimhen could look to stay at the Partenopei to hunt for Champions League success at the club next season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Osimhen has developed a unique and emotional bond with the city of Naples, especially considering how the city was euphoric after the win over Juventus at the weekend. His daughter was born in Naples and that has only increased his love for the city.
This has increased the possibility of him staying at Napoli, with the player currently embroiled in the joy of the upcoming Scudetto win and his agent Roberto Calenda also happy to see him enjoy the moments. Napoli have no intention of letting Osimhen leave unless a huge offer comes around, with the relations between the agent and the Partenopei said to be quite good.
It is stated that if Osimhen does end up staying at the club in the summer, Napoli will propose a renewal. It will not be a surprise anymore if the Nigerian decides to not leave the Maradona this summer, considering that Chelsea will not be playing in Europe, the lack of guarantee around whether Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United can offer the money Napoli want.
His goal is to compete to win the Champions League and there is belief that Napoli might be well-placed to offer that chance.
