Victor Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda has stated that this is not the right time to talk about the transfer market, following the Partenopei’s Scudetto win.
It was a goal from Osimhen that made sure that Napoli got a point from their nervous trip to Udinese and it was fitting, considering how vital he has been for the club so far in the campaign. Having been linked with a host of European clubs, Osimhen has shattered multiple records in the season and the Scudetto win will definitely make sure that his price goes up.
But after the win, Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda spoke to Sky Italia about the player and he lauded the bond that the Nigerian has created with those in the city. He also stated that this is not the time to talk about the transfer market.
“It is a great satisfaction, for me but above all for the Napoli fans who have been waiting for the scudetto from many years. Victor did his best because he wanted so much to show his qualities that he hadn’t been able to show in the early years.
“He’s a genuine boy, it shows when he plays that he always tries to do his best for the team and his teammates. He has created this immense bond with the city of Naples and this thing has given him more and more stimuli building up to this incredible satisfaction.”
Calenda spoke about the striker’s future and stated: “Right now it’s not the time to talk about the transfer market, it’s right to enjoy this victory. There is a great feeling with the Napoli fans and with these colors.”
Osimhen had also echoed a similar sentiment after the title win, stating that he is only focused on enjoying the win with the fans and he is not thinnking about the future.
