Serie A giants Napoli will hire Antonio Conte soon and the Italian has already made contact for Romelu Lukaku regarding a summer move.
Conte will soon be announced as the Napoli manager later this week and Lukaku has been linked with a switch to the Partenopei, even though a swap plus cash deal involving Victor Osimhen with Chelsea is yet to take off.
But it seems as if Conte is making his own attempts to land Lukaku. Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Conte has already made contact with Lukaku regarding a summer move to Napoli, with the Belgian having already returned to Chelsea from his loan spell at Roma.
As of now, Conte sees Lukaku as the first choice to replace Osimhen at the Partenopei and the striker is constantly in the Italianโs mind. It is likely that Lukaku will move away from the Blues in the summer but Napoliโs second-choice for the striker role is Gironaโs Artem Dovbyk.
In the meantime, Arsenal are interested in Osimhen and it has been previously suggested that the Nigerian would be keen on the switch to the Emirates.
