Serie A giants Napoli have been left in a strange situation in the transfer window and Victor Osimhenโs case is complicated their plans.
La Gazzetta dello Sport today have added some details about Osimhen a day after it was stated that Chelseaโs move for theย Nigerian has fallen through. Gazzetta state that the Bluesโ move isnโt dead yet but it is only temporarily stuck because Napoliโs demands didnโt align with the Premier League side.
No offer from Chelsea has arrived and while Napoli did make contact with the Blues and asked for โฌ80 million or โฌ90 million and Romelu Lukaku in a cash plus swap deal. Chelsea didnโt agree with a move like that even though talks were in-depth, especially because Antonio Conte wants the Belgian at the club.
Osimhen also likes the idea of playing for Arsenal and while Mikel Arteta does have an admiration for him, it doesnโt seem as if Arsenal can afford the move and they arenโt seriously interested. Paris Saint-Germain also like Osimhen but no offer has been made yet.
