Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi restored belief in Teun Koopmeiners and made no statement on Juventusโ recent interest in the player.
Speaking to the media (via Gianluca Di Marzio) today during Nicolo Zanioloโs presentation, Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi remarked that Teun Koopmeiners belong to the club and revealed no ongoing negotiations with any other side. He said: โHeโs still here, like any other day. Nothing has changed.โ
The Bianconeri have registered a firm interest in the player recently and it has been reported that La Dea rejected the first offer received for the Belgian. It is certain that the Bergamo-based side are open to selling the player but clubs must match the asking price of a staggering โฌ60 million.
Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli wants to increase the squad dept of the midfield to give new manager Thiago Motta the option of selecting his side from a host of talents.ย
Koopmeiners played a stellar role in Atalantaโs Europa League-winning season as he played a total of 51 games, scoring 15 goals and providing seven assists across all competitions.ย
