Serie A side Bologna are upsetting the odds this season and manager Thiago Motta is picking up accolades and breaking records. After the Rossoblu’s impressive run in the Serie A, the former midfielder has won the Manager of the Month award.
Having said that, Motta has created history with the Manager of the Month win, as he is the first manager to reach the feat in consecutive months, with the accolade having been established about three years ago. On top of that, he has now won the award four times, which is joint top with former Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti.
Bologna take on Monza on Sunday and Motta will be handed the award before the start of the game, with his side unbeaten in the month of March. They also didn’t lose even once in the month of February, with their last defeat in the Serie A coming back on the 14th of January, when they lost to Cagliari.
