Chelsea readying cut-price swoop for Romaโ€™s Paulo Dybala

Premier League giants Chelsea are giving serious consideration to an imminent move for Roma star Paulo Dybala.

Thatโ€™s according to TuttomercatoWeb, who have today provided an insight into the future of the Argentina international.

It is of course common knowledge that Dybalaโ€™s contract in Italyโ€™s capital contains something of an unusual clause, which could see him make the move to a foreign club for measly fee of โ‚ฌ12 million.

A whole host of sides from across the continent, in turn, have been tipped to swoop, albeit with Roma, to this point, having had little trouble in keeping hold of a key member of Josรฉ Mourinhoโ€™s squad.

This situation, however, could soon be set to change. This comes amid claims on the part of TMW that the aforementioned Chelsea have identified Dybala as a prime target for the 2nd half of the season.

The Bluesโ€™ brass, it is understood, view the former Juventus frontman as the โ€˜ideal profileโ€™ to reinforce the clubโ€™s ranks in the final third.

Ahead of the expiration of the cut-price clause in his Giallorossi contract on January 15th, Todd Boehly and co. are therefore ready to fork over the required sum.

From here, the final call will be left with Dybala himself, of course yet to test his talents in the Premier League.

All the while, Roma will continue in efforts to ward off any and all outside interest, by tying their star attacker down to a new contract featuring an improved wage packet.
