Juventus’ horror form charted as they lose ground in Serie A title race

Juventus now seem to be quickly losing ground in the Serie A title race and that was again the case, as they failed to beat struggling Verona away from home.

A wonder goal by Michael Folorunsho had handed Verona a shock lead before Dusan Vlahovic converted his penalty. In the second half, Verona took the lead again through Tijjanii Noslin. Adrien Rabiot made it 2-2 some minutes later and that stayed that, as Juve dropped points again.

Since Inter picked up a big win over Salernitana yesterday, they are now nine points clear at the top while having a game in hand. Juve’s recent form has harmed them massively, as they are winless in four and have dropped points to Verona, Udinese and Empoli, while losing to Inter themselves.

Empoli are currently 16th in the table, Udinese are 15th and Verona are 18th, which says a lot about the recent form, which has seen the Old Lady pick up only two points in four games. If Inter win their game in hand, they would go 12 points clear at the top, with Juve having big games against Napoli and Lazio coming up.
