Juventus reach agreement in principle for Bologna boss Thiago Motta

Serie A giants Juventus have now reached an agreement in principle for Bologna manager Thiago Motta, as they look to potentially replace Massimiliano Allegri.

Motta has been linked heavily with a move to Juve if Max Allegri departs the club in the summer. Daniele Longo has reported about the links, stating that key progress has been made in a saga that could explode at the end of the campaign.

Club sporting director Cristiano Guintoli is said to be keen on opening a new cycle at the club and he wants to do that by hiring Motta as the new manager. Contacts between Juve and the entourage of the former midfielder have been going on for many weeks and a key point has reached, with an agreement in principle now existing between the two parties.

Talks are progressing, even though Milan really like Motta. There is a chance that if Motta joins Juve, Riccardo Calafiori and Lewis Ferguson could arrive at the Bianconeri with him.
