Lazio gain hope for Felipe Anderson’s new deal despite Juventus interest

Despite Juventus’ continued interest in the player, Serie A giants Lazio and Felipe Anderson have revived the chances of a potential contract extension.

According to a report by La Lazio Siamo Noi, Juventus have faced an obstacle in their pursuit of Felipe Anderson as Lazio have renewed hopes of extending the player’s stay at the club with meetings lined up in the next few days.

The player has less than six months left on his contract with the Italian capital side and is therefore free to discuss a new deal with other clubs. The Biancocelesti remain the priority for the 30-year-old now as he wants to end his career there but is demanding an increase in his salary.

The Bianconeri sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has been heading the negotiations with Anderson’s agent Juliana Gomes but it has been a setback for them. Juventus now waits to seize any opportunity after Lazio meet with the player’s entourage.
