Milan desperate to keep Theo Hernandez amidst Bayern Munich interest

Serie A giants Milan are desperate to keep full-back Theo Hernandez at the club for the long-term amidst interest from German giants Bayern Munich.

Marco Conterio has reported about the French left-back, who has proved valuable while even playing at centre-back this season. Multiple clubs are keeping tabs on him and that includes Bayern Munich and even Paris Saint-Germain, where his brother already plays.

But Milan consider Theo to be an essential player for their project and they are desperate to keep him, regardless of what happens in the summer and which manager comes in. Talks have taken place about a renewal, but they could reopen concretely soon.

There is an intention to speak to his agent Manuel Garcia Quilon, and they also know that they would have to pay him more than the current €4 million per season wage. Negotiations will continue in the next few weeks and Milan know that they would have to make an exception for wages for the Frenchman, just like they did for Rafael Leao.
