Higher ups at Serie A giants Milan will soon have a meeting to speak about Stefano Pioliโs future at the club and potential new targets to replace him.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) have reported that RedBird owner Gerry Cardinale is in Milan today, ahead of the Milan derby against Inter. He isnโt the only person related to Milan or RedBird who is currently in the city and many other higher-ups at the club are also present.
Cardinale will soon have a series of meetings with many people at the club and this includes Geoffrey Moncada, Giorgio Furlani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. While they will talk about multiple things, one thing they will talk about will be the managerial situation and the future of Pioli.
Paulo Fonseca and Julen Lopetegui are two names being linked with the club, with Pioli expected to depart the club in the summer.ย
It is also possible that Cardinale will speak to city mayor Giuseppe Sala to talk about the clubโs potential new stadium. Other discussions can also be held.
