Serie A giants Milan have made contact for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, who is a key striker target for the Rossoneri in the summer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MN) have reported that signing a striker is Milanโs second biggest priority, with the first priority being the signature of a manager. The number one target for the strikerโs role is Sesko, whose profile has been on the clubโs shortlist for a while now.
In recent hours, the agency that represents the striker posted a story on social media that suggests that someone from the agency was present at the clubโs headquarters. And the report confirms that a meeting did take place between the club and someone from Seskoโs entourage.
Premier League clubs could provide competition for the Slovenian and in general, the negotiations wonโt be simple. There is a release clause in place and it starts from โฌ50 million and Milan know that it will be a significant fee for them and they also understand that it could be one of the most significant transfer feesโ in the clubโs history.ย
More about Milanโs interest will be known when Leipzigโs season ends and the expectation is that the period between the season end and start of the Euros could be a good time for further talks to be held between the two parties.
