Milan make contact for RB Leipzigโ€™s Benjamin Sesko

Serie A giants Milan have made contact for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, who is a key striker target for the Rossoneri in the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MN) have reported that signing a striker is Milanโ€™s second biggest priority, with the first priority being the signature of a manager. The number one target for the strikerโ€™s role is Sesko, whose profile has been on the clubโ€™s shortlist for a while now.

In recent hours, the agency that represents the striker posted a story on social media that suggests that someone from the agency was present at the clubโ€™s headquarters. And the report confirms that a meeting did take place between the club and someone from Seskoโ€™s entourage.

Premier League clubs could provide competition for the Slovenian and in general, the negotiations wonโ€™t be simple. There is a release clause in place and it starts from โ‚ฌ50 million and Milan know that it will be a significant fee for them and they also understand that it could be one of the most significant transfer feesโ€™ in the clubโ€™s history.ย

More about Milanโ€™s interest will be known when Leipzigโ€™s season ends and the expectation is that the period between the season end and start of the Euros could be a good time for further talks to be held between the two parties.
