Napoli and Marseille keeping tabs on Juventusโ€™ Danilo

Serie A side Juventus are expected to lose defender Danilo in the next few months and there is interest from Napoli and Marseille.

Daniloโ€™s current deal at Juve runs out in the summer of 2025 and Sky Italia, as relayed by AreaNapoli, have stated that Thiago Motta doesnโ€™t see a future for the Brazilian in Turin.

There is a clause in the current deal which can trigger an extension till the summer of 2026 but the player will have to play 50 percent of games. A loan exit is not possible and his contract termination is not possible due to Juveโ€™s need for depth at centre-back because of injuries.

Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has a liking for the player from his time at Juve but the wage demands will be a problem. Marseille also like the player and would like to make a move in the summer and sign him on a free transfer. There has been talk of Vasco da Gama but they currently cannot sign the player.
