Napoli defining final agreement for Leonardo Spinazzola

Former Serie A champions Napoli are currently defining their final agreement for former Roma wing-back Leonardo Spinazzola.

The Italian has now left the Giallorossi after his contract at the club expired and is now a free agent. Antonio Conte wanted to sign the player during his time at Inter but could not do it. As things stand, it does seem as if he has a golden chance of managing him.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that both parties are working towards reaching an agreement and Spinazzola is keen on the move. Napoli have initially offered a one-year deal and they, to be on the safer side, want to link the wages to the number of appearances because of the playerโ€™s recent injury issues. Spinazzolaโ€™s agent though, is looking an extra year in the agreement which would be an initial one-year deal and the option on a second year depending on the clubโ€™s wishes.

The goal of both the parties is to reach a final agreement soon and they want to make sure that the player undergoes a medical soon and starts training with Conteโ€™s team as soon as he can.
