Nemanja Matic offered to Juventus

Nemanja Matic has been offered to Juventus for a permanent transfer.

According to a report by Mirko Di Natale of Tutto Juve, Nemanja Matic wants to leave Rennes after six months of joining the French club. The defensive midfielder’s contract with The Red and Blacks ends next year and if he has to sign for another club, they will have to pay a transfer fee to Rennes.

It has been noted that the 35-year-old’s entourage has offered him to Serie A outfits Juventus but the Old Lady are not excited about the opportunity at present. The player’s age and other factors such as negotiations with his club are factors restraining the Bianconeri from going ahead with the proposal. Milan are also linked with Matic but anything concrete is uncertain as of now.

The Serbian international spent a season with Roma following a free transfer at the start of the 2022-23 season after completing five seasons with Premier League giants Manchester United. He registered 50 appearances with the Giallorossi across all competitions but had to leave the club following a relationship fallout with manager Jose Mourinho.
