According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Romaโs communication to leave Nicola Zalewski out of the clubโs plans has arrived after he rejected advances from Galatasaray. The Giallorossi had accepted an offer of โฌ11 million plus bonuses with a percentage on future resale from the Turkish outfits but talks were thwarted by the playerโs refusal to transfer this window.ย
Roma offered a renewal to the Polish full-back but he denied it after returning from international duty as he wants to leave as a free agent next June.ย
It remains to be seen how the drama pans out in this case as the Turkish transfer window ends at 7 pm this evening. Galatasaray will hope to change Zalewskiโs mind in this short span of time but a surprise move is always on the cards from any other club.
