Piotr Zielinski after Interโ€™s 4-4 draw against Juventus: โ€œThere is a regretโ€

Inter midfielder Piotr Zielinski has revealed that the side has regrets about their incredible 4-4 draw against Juventus in the Serie A.

For a while, it seemed as if Inter were going to pick up all three points. They were 4-2 up, courtesy of goals from Zielinski (brace), Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Denzel Dumfries. Dusan Vlahovic and Timothy Weah had scored for Juventus until young Kenan Yildiz came on and grabbed a brace to make it 4-4.

Inter had a fair share of chances to make it 5-2 but they missed those attempts. Zielinski spoke to Sky after the game and revealed regret.

He said, as relayed by TMW: โ€œโ€œCertainly, there is regret for this result, we could have closed it by scoring the fifth goal. We didnโ€™t succeed and then Juventus was good at making the moves for the third and fourth goals.โ€

He was also asked about why Inter are conceding so many goals and why it is different from how things were last season.

He said: โ€œIt is noticeable, yes. They come out too easily at times, with a pass they find open spaces to come forward. It is something that needs to be improved because last year Inter did not allow these things.โ€

Zielinski also revealed that he was taken off in the game because he was tired and hasnโ€™t picked up any injury, which should come as good news to Inter.
