Roma seem to have made decisive progress in their move for Girona striker Artem Dovbyk, who is now nearing a switch to the Giallorossi.
Yesterday, it was reported that Dovbykโs entourage was in Rome and personal terms between the two parties were agreed and his agents stayed in the city overnight.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) now state that Roma are โone step awayโ from signing the Ukrainian striker and he is very likely to be the clubโs second major signing of the summer, with a move for Matias Soule already sealed.
Roma are ready to make an offer of โฌ32 million plus bonuses of โฌ5 million to Girona and it has already been readied, with the amount said to be very close to what the Spanish side want.
Dovbyk is likely to be very important to Daniele de Rossiโs approach next season and the โgreen lightโ is very close and could arrive in the next 48 hours.ย
