Simone Inzaghi confirms desire to stay at Inter

Inter boss Simone Inzaghi has confirmed his desire to stay at the club beyond this season, revealing that he is keen on signing a new deal.

The Nerazzurri are pretty much on the verge of seaing the Serie A title this season under Inzaghi and a win in the next game could well make them Scudetto winners for the first time under Inzaghi. While they have been knocked out of the Champions League, but they’ve been dominant in the Serie A.

Inzaghi was recently asked by reporters about his future at the club, when he received the Enzo Bearzot Award at the Coni Hall of Honour (via Sky Italia).

“Should I stay next year? I can say what I feel: Inter has given me a lot in these three years, we have grown and we have made a great journey. We have played many matches and won many trophies. At the end of the year we will sit down and talk. There will be no problems to continue this journey together.”

Inzaghi is yet to sign a new deal at the club and while he has been linked with jobs away from Inter and in the Premier League, it seems as if he is keen on staying and continuing his journey in Italy.
