Genoa defender Radu Dragusin has chosen to join Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur over German champions Bayern Munich.
The Bavarians had made a last ditch bid to land the Romanian yesterday and Genoa proceeded to accept offers from both Bayern and Spurs. A decision from the player was pending, but it has now been made, thereby concluding a long and confusing saga.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the 21-year-old has picked Spurs over Bayern and the details of the move will be sorted out today. It was reported that while Spurs were positive about landing the player, Bayern were also confident but the Romanian was going to make a decision today.
And the decision has now been made and Spurs have won the race. The Lilywhites had been speaking to Genoa for days now and they had reached advanced talks a week ago, also defying competition from Napoli. Bayernโs late resistence has proved futile, with the ex-Juventus man to undergo medicals in London today.
