Serie A side Atalanta are set to pocket a massive profit from the sale of Mateo Retegui, who is about to join Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah this summer.
Yesterday, the two clubs had come very close to an agreement for the Italian and TuttoAtalanta now report that La Dea will earn a record fee of โฌ68.5 million from the strikerโs sale to Al Qadsiah. This includes a transfer fee of โฌ65 million and then a โฌ3.5 million as developmental fees.
The player will undergo a medical in the Netherlands later today and he is expected to sign a contract with the Saudi club by Monday. Retegui will earn as much as โฌ20 million in his contract at Qadsiah, with Atalanta set to earn an extraordinary capital gain of over โฌ40 million just a season after signing the striker.
He impressed a lot last season, leading to an increase in his valuation.
