According to a report by TMW, Veronaโs Diego Coppola is being pursued by Brentford, Brighton and Aston Villa. The 21-year-oldโs first Italy call-up by Luciano Spalletti has made him a prime transfer target in the market.ย
Coppola had an impressive season with Verona in the Serie A and now with the international first-team call-up, The Gialloblu are set to raise their asking price from an initial โฌ10 million.
Offers ranging in the region of โฌ10-15 million could arrive from the mentioned Premier League sides. It remains to be seen what price Verona name for Coppola and how the negotiations proceed.ย
