The Serie A title race has come down to the final matchday. Inter must win and hope that Napoli fail to do so. Napoli are a point ahead, and matching whatever result Inter have will be good enough for them. If Inter draw and Napoli lose, the Scudetto will be decided by a play-off.
However Interโs task at hand is actually quite difficult. They travel to Como and must pick up all 3 points, at any cost. However standing in front of them will be Cesc Fabregasโs young and dynamic Como side who have impressed everyone this season. They sit 10th in their first season in the top division, a testament to the former Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea midfielderโs managerial prowess.
However, the interesting thing is that Fabregas probably has a horse in this race too. Of course heโd want to win but heโll also know that a positive result would mean the title goes to Napoli, managed by Antonio Conte, under whom Fabregas won the Premier League in 2016/17 for Chelsea. He has also publicly called Conte as one of his inspirations in the world of management. Can Fabregas do his former boss a favour tonight?
